The 2017 Summer Reading Program

Readers of all ages will put on their hard hats and be inspired this summer as Southern Pines Public Library presents “Build a Better World” during our summer library program.
The 2017 Summer Reading Program is open to everyone, from birth through adult, with programs, prizes, storytimes, movies, crafts, and more.

The fun begins on June 18th at 3 :00 pm with our Summer Kick-Off Party at the Library with special guest storyteller Gran' Daddy Junebug. Due to weather, this event location has been moved from the Pool Park to the Library.

On most Fridays the library will host special STEAM events. Check out crafts and special building programs on Saturdays. Don't forget about Sunday movies that will inspire you.
Registration for “Build a Better World” begins June 1.  Register online for the Summer Reading Program or speak with library staff for more information.
For more information, call the library at 910-692-8235, or check us out on Facebook.
All programs are free and open to the public.
