The Library’s newest book club is online! The Page Turners virtual book club meets monthly through Zoom, and as a virtual discussion group on Facebook.
- Each month we’ll select one title for our book club to read. On the first day of each month, multiple physical copies will be available for checkout from the Library, and multiple eBooks will be available for download through the North Carolina Digital Library (NCDL) using the Libby or Overdrive apps. We will let you know the titles ahead of time so you can reserve a copy of the book through the Library or NCDL.
- Zoom Live Meetings will be held each month on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. on June 30, July 28, and August 25. You will receive a link to the live meeting by email a few days prior to the date.
- Join the Page Turners Book Club on Facebook. Log into your Facebook account and click on “Join Group.” You’ll receive a notification when you are added to the group! Then you’ll be able to post your thoughts, discuss the books with others, and find bonus information about the book and author on the discussion board.
Extra copies of book club titles will be available for checkout from the Library and NCDL on the first of the month. Reserve a copy and you will be notified when it is available.
