Douglass Center Book Club: This group usually meets the third Thursday of the month at 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the Douglass Community Center.
Read Between the Pines: This group meets the second Thursday of the month at 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the new Southern Pines Fire Station.

Track Your Summer Reading with Beanstack
Use your personal computer or mobile device from anywhere to print directly to the library's printers. Once documents are submitted, come to the library during operational hours to release, pay, and print your documents.
Book Club Kits
Book club kits may be borrowed from the library. Each kit contains 10 copies of the book and a discussion guide. Kits check out for a six week period with no renewals to one SPPL library card member. Learn more about the checkout policies and procedures.
Free Tax Help
American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) trained volunteers offered free tax assistance for middle and low-income seniors in filing their tax returns. This service took place on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. from February 2nd through April 13th, 2019. Help was available on a first-come, first served basis.
