Explorations: A Forum for Adults is an ongoing lecture and discussion series for adults on selected Sunday afternoons from 3-4pm.

The Sunday Film series offers free screenings of favorite films on selected Sundays from 2:30-4:30pm.

The Douglass Center Book Club meets once per month at the Douglass Community Center. Books are available for pickup at the library.


Book Club Kits are available for checkout for a six week period.

Mobile Printing is available at the Library! Use your personal computer or mobile device to print to the library printers from anywhere.

Free Tax Help at the Library

American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) trained volunteers offered free tax assistance for middle and low-income seniors in filing their tax returns. This service took place on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 am-1:00 pm beginning February 2nd through April 13th, 2019. Help is available on a first-come, first served basis. You must come in person to register, and no appointments will be made by phone. 2018 Tax Help and Information.

Job & Career Help offered by the library include web sites, library books, ebooks, job and test preparation, employment listings, and jobs databases.

Small Business Startup Tools are available in the library as books, eBooks, and access to online information for entrepreneurs and researchers.
