A Special Meeting called by the Town of Southern Pines Planning Board, and to which all members of the Southern Pines Town Council have been invited, to listen to a presentation by City Explained, Inc. about work completed so far on the Comprehensive Long-Range Plan (CLRP) project. City Explained, Inc. is the professional consulting firm hired by the Town to prepare a new CLRP.  City Explained, Inc. is approaching the halfway point of the project, and now is a reasonable time to hold a Special Meeting with both the Planning Board and Town Council regarding work completed on the project.  Following the presentation, City Explained, Inc. will discuss next steps in the CLRP process and facilitate Q&A and discussion amongst those present.  Pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes regarding official meetings of public bodies, all members of the public are welcome to attend but are advised that this Special Meeting is not a public hearing.
