There are eight members of the Southern Pines Board of Adjustment.

About the Board
The Board of Adjustment interprets and applies the standards that have been placed in the zoning ordinance by the governing board. The Board of Adjustment hears individual judicial cases, such as appeals, requests, and variance petitions. Decisions of this board are appealed directly to the courts.
