[ARCHIVED] Hurricane Florence - Electronic device charging location

The Southern Pines Police Department recognizes the need for our community to remain in touch with others before, during and after Hurricane Florence.  With this in mind, when it is safe to do so, the Southern Pines Police Department will open the C. Michael Haney Community Room located on the first floor of the Southern Pines Police facility to serve as a safe location for the community to charge their electronic devices in the event any community member experiences a power outage.  The Southern Pines Police facility is equipped with two natural gas generators that will ensure the uninterrupted delivery of police services, in addition to providing this charging location for residents.  As always, it is our honor to serve such a great community.
