COVID-19 UPDATE: The return and renew options on the kiosk have been disabled during the pandemic.
The Southern Pines Automated Remote Kiosk (affectionately known to the library as SPARK) allows you to borrow, return, and renew library materials 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. SPARK is located at the Town’s new Fire Station, FS 82, in Carthage (7850 NC Hwy 22, Carthage, NC 28327).
The kiosk holds 235 items at a time including:
- Popular fiction and non-fiction
- Large print
- Children’s books
- Young adult
- Audiobooks
- DVDs
Library members with valid cards may borrow materials using your library card number and PIN. Please contact the library if you need to reset your PIN or if you encounter issues using the kiosk. You may call the library at (910) 692-8235 or email us at lib@southernpines.net. Allow 48 hours for library staff to respond to your questions.
