Douglass Community Center
Originally built as "Our Lady of Victory School" in 1942, Douglass Community Center (DCC) was later dedicated for use as community and named for Southern Pines mayor Emanuel Douglass.
A Southern Pines Recreation and Parks office is onsite. The office is open 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and oversees Senior Adult 55-plus programs including senior games and North Carolina day trips. This historic building offers rooms for senior games, crafts, classes, activities and a fitness and exercise room.
The building is also a Community Center hosting town meetings, local, state and national voting and public and private events. Amenities include plenty of parking, a large auditorium with stage and small playground.
Facility Rental / Reservation
